Single elephant salt or pepper shaker made in Japan very old hc1637

This single elephant salt or pepper shaker (3 holes) is just too cute to be ignored. It is also nearing antique in age and in fantastic condition.

Trunk up for luck, made in Japan, ceramic decorated with green and pink and trimmed in gold. Rubber stopper is intact. Lots of personality. It stands 3½ inches high. Use it as a single shaker, match it with another odd shaker or set it on a shelf to please and amuse.
