A souvenir plate from Old Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The plate is ironstone made in England by Wood & Sons with original artwork by Walter Pranke. The design is applied in brown on a slightly off white plate. It is 10 inches in diameter and in perfect condition.
The central design is Place Royale. Surrounding it are other scenes of Old Montreal or Le Vieux Montreal. Included are the 1731 Calvet House, Nelson's Monument in Place Jacques Cartier, Seminary of Sulpician Fathers founded in 1685 and Notre Dame Cathedral, Market and Chapel of Bonsecours, Chateau de Ramezay built in 1705, and Little Saint Jacques Street.
