Pair pillow shams woven cotton embroidered design vintage linens hc1592

This pair of pillow shams probably date to the 1960s, possibly 50s, and are probably European made. They are mint green embroidered with a meandering design of black, hot pink and white. The green is slightly warmer than it comes across in the photos.

The shams are hand embroidered and are embroidered on the fronts only. The fabric is loosely woven cotton a bit like huck only looser. The cases are designed for standard sized pillows (17 x 27 inches) and open at the ends with securing pockets to hold the pillows in place. Condition is excellent vintage. No damage.
