Cleminsons California Pottery Rooster Pie Bird c. 1940's

Here's is one of the early ones from Betty Cleminsons. The adorable colorful pie bird dates to the 1940's when the Cleminsons still had their California Pottery company in the Garage.

The pie bird measures a little over 4 inches in height. The base is 2.25 inches. The colors on this little guy are purple pink and green.

There are no markings anywhere on this piece.

Condition: Fair / Good. Very fine crazing over 100% of the piece. There are 3 extremely small chips on the base of the Rooster.The very tip of the beak has just the smallest of nips....almost not even worth mentioning.
