CTC, Celebrating the Century, 1970s, Commemorating Professional Football Team Pittsburgh Steelers,
Winning Four Super Bowls, the Pittsburgh Steelers dominated professional football in the seventies by winning the American Football Conference four times, and winning the Super Bowl in 1975, 1976, 1979 and 1980, the first team to win four titles.
Coached by Chuck Noll, Steeler stars of the decade included quarterback Terry Bradshaw, running back Franco Harris, wide receivers Lynn Swann and John Stallworth, and defensive tackle "Mean" Joe Greene. Greene was the leader of the Steelers' famous "Steel Curtain" defensive line. Bradshaw, Greene, Harris and Noll are now members of the Football Hall of Fame.
