This little elephant was made in Japan a long time ago. I have had a number of these flat animal figurines over the years and every time I sell one I wonder why I did, but I can't collect everything.
This line of figurines are fairly flat, cold-painted, and impressed with JAPAN on the back of the base. One is just a little cuter than the one before. This trunk-up-for-luck elephant is 2 inches high and has a cold painted base and mouth. It is a lady elephant I presume as it seems to be wearing lipstick. Has a primitive look. No damage.
