Vintage 1980s children's / girls' Butterick sewing pattern, style number 6039 in sizes 7 - 10. So chic, these retro 80s separates will make the perfect casual outfit for young girls. Use knits like sweatshirt fleece or other lightweight fabrics.
Girls' dress, top, vest, skirt and pants: Loose-fitting, straight, pullover dress, 2 inches (5cm) above mid-knee or top has dropped shoulders and button and thread loop shoulder closing. Dress: buttoned collar and full length sleeves pushed. Top: above elbow length sleeves rolled up (wrong side of fabric will show). Very loose-fitting pullover vest has cap sleeves. A-line skirt 3 inches (7.5cm) above mid-knee or tapered pants have elasticized waist and pockets. All have narrow hem. Purchased belt.
