Vintage Brown/Red Lava Pottery Table Lamp .

Made in Quebec by Maurice Chalvignac.

*Maurice Chalvignac was a Quebec ceramic artist who emigrated to Canada from France in 1957. He made many beautiful pieces, including lamps, wall art, vases, bowls, ashtrays, and more. His work often evoked an organic feel, combined with the flashy orange and gold tones of the era. A true Canadian mid century icon!

Circa 70.

Round shape, glossy glaze, lava drip in white with brown spots, longer drip in red & yellow, 7 inches diameter at widest, 9½ inches tall pottery part, overall lenght is 19½ inches to top of metal part.

The goldtone center pole has some wear, goldtone socket & switch in working order, Note bottom of pottery part has a hole for the electrical wire.

In very good preowned condition, but minor crazing in the upper part

of lava drip you have to really search to notice.

This one has a Danish vide to it.

Great find for retro deco !Simply had a shade.
