Vintage 1970s children's / girls' Vogue sewing pattern, style number 1615 in size 6x. The smocking detail and Peter Pan collar add whimsy and charm to an otherwise typical girl's dress. Make it in two lengths, long or short.
Children's dress: Above knee or ankle length dress, with front hand-smocked into front yoke and back skirt gathered into back bodice has self or contrast Peter Pan collar and back-buttoned closing. Back belts, attached at side seams, are looped through center back carrier and buttoned. Short sleeves gathered at cap and elasticized at lower edge, short sleeves with contrast sleeve bands or full-length sleeves gathered at cap and gathered into contrast buttoned cuffs. With or without purchased lace trim.
The pattern envelope may show wear and tear from age or storage, or have writing or markings which do not affect the pattern tissue. The pattern tissue has been cut, but all tissue pieces and the instructions inside are complete. ***Heat transfers have been used except for one small remaining piece***.
