100% Natural Farmed Bamboo Rayon
6 inch X 72 inch Rayon Scarf
All of our rayon is Ready to Dye or Pant and takes our Fiber Reactive Dyes beautifully!
It is seamed on all 4 sides with cotton thread so will come from the dye pot with uniform results.
If you like white, this scarf is soft, buttery smooth and ready to go as is!
Rayon is often labeled "dry clean only" NOT TRUE! Because it is made from wood pulp it becomes weakened when wet, so you should wash with delicates, on delicate cycle or hand wash and hang dry, or dry with low temp. Dry cleaning is NOT necessary!
Rayon is also labeled "Man Made" NOT SO!!!! It is the waste product of processing farm raised bamboo, so labeled man made. But it is 100% natural and has wonderful wicking, antibacterial and anti microbial properties like natural bamboo.
I love to paint these with Jacquard resist mixed with my dye, then drop in a dye bath and wash. They make great hair wraps in the summer to hold my waist length hair in check, also a buttery soft neck wrap for those iffy days or under a heavy hooded coat to run from the car to shops. Or even as a sash to add drama to a special outfit. The options are limitless with this size scarf!
