Vintage 1987 misses' / women's Vogue sewing pattern, style number 1867 in size 8. Here's a simple, understated skirt suit by Christian Dior. The longer jacket adds sophistication to this minimalist look.
Misses' jacket, top and skirt: Semi-fitted, lined, below hip jacket has extended shoulders, shoulder pads, side panels (no side seams), welt pockets, shaped front hemline and long, two-piece sleeves with mock vent and button trim. Semi-fitted, pullover top has cutaway armholes and narrow hem. Straight skirt, below mid-knee, has waistband, front pleats and back zipper. Purchased belt.
The pattern envelope may show wear and tear from age or storage, or have writing or markings which do not affect the pattern tissue. The pattern tissue and instructions inside are complete and uncut. Copyright dated 1987.
