Gorgeous Larger 10" Antique Porcelain Plate-Cabbage Roses
Lovely vintage Bavarian large 10 inch cabinet plate featuring exquisite ornate low-relief molded design, flowing floral gold gilt embossed scalloped edge. Hand decorated deep to pale pink and yellow roses with buds, soft green shaded leaves. Note the grace and flow of the 3 daisy type flowers forming the edge, they are so unusual and just beautiful.
Mark under the glaze in green: Crown over wreath with "PM" inside wreath, "BAVARIA" underneath. (This is the mark of Porcelain Factory Moschendorf, Hof-Moschendorf, of Bavaria, Germany. Mark used 1904-1938.)
There is just a bit of fading of the gold gilt on the 3 floral designs, more to the edge. There is a tiny spot on a leaf missing color otherwise in very good condition, no cracks,chips or repairs on this lovely old piece.
