The "V" neck is accentuated by a shirt collar from shoulder to shoulder.
The shell is a loose-weave "gauzy" wool fabric. Underneath is a separate black slip that zips down the back. The two pieces together make the dress opaque over the slip, and semi-see-thru at the shoulders and arms.
