However the problem with MA is because ofthe HORRIBLE SpringfieldMa processing center. Sadly approx 90%of all New England packages MUST go throughthis center. In fact any time there is a delay in anypackage, the problem almost ALWAYS stems from them having to go through this HORRIBLE center. The good newsis though, after several years of NUMEROUS complaints, which also came from thecarriers in that area, they have gone from COMPLETELY HORRIBLE, to just HORRIBLE, so we are makingprogress with them.Please remember that Shippers have NO control overANY of the post offices. It is alsoimportant to understand that the 2-5 business days for first class and the 5-9business days estimates are ONLY ESTIMATES, NOT guarantees.We understand that people often receive theirpackages in a few days depending on their zones, and other factors but thereare MANY times in which it takes the FULL estimated time and beyond. But again,the shippers have NO control over this.TRACKINGALL orders which are able to be sent using paypalor online postal service will receive an automatic tracking number, which canoften be tracked via the usps tracking system, however this system will onlytrack packages as they are scanned along the way and there are MANY times inwhich they are not scanned until they are delivered so no tracking is availableto you or the shipper and even if we call the post office all they will do ischeck the tracking system.The post office will also not start searching forpackages for 14-30 after the shipping date in which it has gone UNDELIVEREDdepending on the shipping method.14 days is for priority mail and 30 for firstclass and parcel post. One of the reasons for this is because packagesget delayed, misrouted etc and the estimates given are only estimates as theystate, and packages often (but not always) show up within the 14-30 days whenthere is a delay or are misrouted.You must also understand that the post officeshandle MILLIONS of packages world wideon pretty much a daily bases and with that many packages every day, there arebound to be mishaps along the way with a small percentage, as NO system, personor business is or can be expected to be 100% perfect all of the time.HOLIDAY SHIPPING TIMESHoliday shipping times for thepost office start around November 15 and continue until after New Years.What this means is that ALL sipping time estimatesat least double and you can EXPECT there to be delays do to the much HIGHER volumeof packages being delivered world wide. This is also a time in which the chances of lost or damaged packages INCREASE so purchasing insuranceis HIGHLYADVISED.This is also when our insurance requirement goes from $50 to $25, however we do offer it onALL orders of ANY amount all year long.This means that ALL orders of $25 or more MUST purchaseinsurance, this is for your protection and ours.PROCESSINGYour orders are first sent to processing, whichmeans they are sent to be counted and packaged for shipping, once they arepacked and ready for shipping they then have to be taken to the post office& shipped if they are finished before the cut off time, other wise theywill be shipped the following day providing it is not a weekend.Our weekly cut off time for processingis 2pm and ALL Fridaypayments made after 1pm will not be processed until the following week, howeverprocessing does not mean SHIPPED. We do NOT ship on weekends.As long as we can ship your items using theonline system you will receive an automatic tracking number as soon as yourshipping label is created.InsuranceWe ship via USPS and they charge EXTRA forinsurance beyond the actual shipping rates, so for this reason insurance is NOTincluded.
