This gorgeous piece is no exception - This is an absolutely gorgeous dress from Vera Wang. It is brand new and has never been worn. It is an amazing soft silk, and the design at the top of the dress clearly accentuates and flatters anyone who wears it. This is authentic Vera Wang, and was purchased at Barneys New York, here in New York City. The dress is full-length, and has both a high back as well as a high front. It has the original price tags from Barneys on the dress, showing the original retail price of $1,700. Yes, that’s right, almost $2,000. The dress is fully lined. PLEASE note that the dress does need a little tender loving care. You may want to have the dress dry cleaned, as the top straps show some light dirt smudges from the store. In addition, there is an ink mark on the bottom of the dress that is really not noticeable unless you look directly at it and for a while, but I wanted to be full disclosure. There are also 2 pictures of the ink mark (one showing most of the skirt and one from far away), so you can see that it is not that dark and can most likely come out with a little bit of gentle/organic hairspray. The mark itself is not big – maybe half an inch long. All in all, you are one dry cleaning away from a stunner of a dress at a joke of a price. Also, please ensure you are familiar with Vera Wang sizing – although the dress is labeled a size 12 on the price tag, I think it fits more like an American size 10, or even an 8. Some measurement approximations are as follows: laying the dress flat, measuring across the seam at the waist looks to be about 16 inches across when stretched. Measuring across from the top of the armpit to the other armpit when laying flat looks to measure about 21 inches across when stretched out.
