Fenistil gel is a gel for use on the skin. Its active substance is dimetindene maleate, which inhibits the action of histamine, a compound responsible for allergic reactions.
Fenistil gel applied to the skin has a local anti-allergic effect, strongly antipruritic, reduces swelling and soothes irritation. It has anesthetic and cooling properties, thanks to which it soothes irritated skin.
Composition:
1 g of gel contains:
active substance: dimetindene maleate 1 mg,
other ingredients: benzalkonium chloride, sodium edetate, carbomer (carbopol 974 P), sodium hydroxide 30%, propylene glycol, purified water.
Indications:
Itching accompanying skin diseases, hives, insect bites, sunburn, superficial skin burns (first degree).
