A Superb Long Pair of Vintage Filigree Earrings Composed of Antique Oaxaca Mexican Silver, circa 1940. Generally, these intricate antique handmade earrings were made to be worn, not for the tourist trade thus are uncommon on the market today. This beautiful pair is composed of antique sterling silver, as tested, and are all hand made fine filigree openwork. Each earring has a series of eight (8) dangle drops that dangle and move when worn on the ear. I have left the original patina on the silver as they came to me. These earring each measure about just under 2 1/2 inches long from very top to bottom with ear wire by about 1 inch wide. They are in exceptionally nice condition for this delicate work of this age with one earring missing a ball detail mentioned for accuracy as I always do. Made in Oaxaca Mexico circa 1940.
