Whether designing dresses or loungewear, dress & lingerie designer JOHN KLOSS was aware of the fashion trends, moving from sculptural, molded forms to free flowing more casual looks of the 1960s and 1970s. He avoided unnecessary details, relying instead on the cut of the garment and materials used to provide the design. The garments moved & flowed with the wearer. His designs were simple, clean, and seductive.
This long flowing summery vintage slipdress is the perfect example of the classic simplicity of his designs. It's in a pure snowy white, soft & light cotton blended fabric. Low scoop neckline detailed with peek-a-boo scalloped lace trim. Lace trim also at armholes & hem. Stretchy elasticized Empire waist accented with a little bow-tie. Long sweeping skirt with flounced ruffle hem. Originally designed to be worn as a lingerie item, but easily transform to daywear. It makes the perfect bohemian chic sundress.
