Included is a 12" piece of solder wick to help remove the relays from the circuit board. You need to have solder wick or a solder sucker to safely remove the relays.
The Dodge Ram trucks have independent circuits for each of the trailer functions, left, right and tail lights. A direct replacement of the three relays located on the back of the fuse box circuit board. It is a 30A upgraded version - drop in (solder) replacement for the TYCO VFM-21F42-S01 which is used in various makes of vehicles. These drop in and solder directly to the electronic module printed circuit board of a Dodge Ram for the trailer lights not working. First check the fuses in the module and if they are not working, the relays soldered in below the circuit board are highly suspect. You can look on you tube for videos showing how to change these relays yourself in 20 minutes. Save yourself over $600. Search youtube for "ram trailer tow lights not working". When changing these relays, you should use a solder sucker or solder wick to remove the relay solder connections.
