Subtitled "Robert E. Lee and the Civil War", this is a thorough account--based entirely on eyewitness accounts, and Lee's own letters and dispatches--that dives into the life of the famous Confederate general deeper than any book before it.
The dustjacket is in poor condition, with some crap all over the front which has led to fraying along the edges. Spine in okay condition; oddly, the back dustjacket, which is almost pure white, is in great condition. Also, the cover underneath looks almost immaculate, and is not damaged. Inside pages also look great, and are free from writing, creases, and other markings. I'd say this is a "good" copy overall, with the front jacket being the only bad section.
