My middle daughter Grace has a vivid imagination, and lives a good portion of her days outside the proverbial box. She and her friend routinely make up words and phrases that have their own particular meaning. "Murn Kelp" is one of them, and I'm not sure what a 'murn' is, but I was going to name this color 'Kelp' anyway, and it gave my Grace immense pleasure to know that this very important word is now immortalized, and will be uttered by rug hooking ladies all over the country!
'Murn Kelp' is a fabulous vibrant green with enough yellow in it to keep it from being too drab. The deeper levels are just beautiful. The lighter levels would be great for vibrant spring leaves in a brighter piece. Level 4 is the color of the leaves here in New England just as they emerge in spring.
NOTE: In general, use the individual color image as your guide. I have devoted many, many hours to adjusting the images to match the actual wool color, but the usual disclaimers (about colors appearing different on different monitors) apply.
HOW TO ORDER
The standard minimum size available at Ram in the Thicket is a 3" X 18" increment, and each of those represents one "item". So from each listing, order the total number of increments of that color you would like. If you order more than one 'item' of any color, I will send it out as one large piece.
