**NOTE: This level is not quite as vibrant as pictured, and is bit lighter, as well.
Augustus Saint-Gaudens was a brilliant sculptor around the turn of the twentieth century, whose most familiar work for most of us would be the design of the $20 Double Eagle gold piece. Near the end of his life, he founded an artists' colony in Cornish, NH, which has been designated a national historic site and is one of the many lovely New England estates in our area. It is a few miles from our home and is worth visiting. We enjoy going to the classical music concerts that are held there during the summer.
'Saint-Gaudens' sits between 'Jacob's Ladder' on the edge of blue, and 'Ashlee's Fave' in the neutral center of the Modern purple family. So this color tips toward blue but is fairly neutral overall. Level 7 is very, very dark.
NOTE: In general, use the individual color image as your guide. I have devoted many, many hours to adjusting the images to match the actual wool color, but the usual disclaimers (about colors appearing different on different monitors) apply.
HOW TO ORDER
The standard minimum size available at Ram in the Thicket is a 3" X 18" increment, and each of those represents one "item". So from each listing, order the total number of increments of that color you would like. If you order more than one 'item' of any color, I will send it out as one large piece.
