This blouse pattern packs a lot of punch. It would be just as pretty today as it was in the 1940's. We just don't find well fitted blouses with so much detail.
Pattern is from Butterick and is #3375. It is a size 14. Body measurements: Bust = 32"; Waist = 26 1/2".
The blouse can be made in 2 basic styles; both featuring hand finished details. The first style features cap sleeved blouse with a hand stitched petal collar. The second style features a high neckline button down back blouse with an interesting seam treatment. Transfer for the scalloped embroidery.
Yardage to make the capped sleeve blouse: 35" wide = 1 5/8 yd and 39" wide fabric = 1 1/2 yd. To make the long sleeved blouse: 35" wide 2 1/4 yd; 39" wide = 2 yd.
Pattern condition: Tissue is unmarked. It is well folded inside the pattern sleeve. I don't believe it has been cut. Although it is difficult to tell. Pattern sleeve is clean. Paper is discoloring and becoming brittle. The bottom and the sides of the sleeve are splitting.
