Patch boxes were used to carry small patches to cover pox marks on the skin."

Accents Filigree applied work; Turquoise Eyes; Hinged flap mouth to add scent; Gold tone probably the patina from not being polished for years or a vermeil coating
Condition Estate wonderful, lovingly worn, still has what looks like Lambs wool in the mouth that probably held a scent
