A souvenir hanky of deep lilac rayon taffeta and lace that would have been given to a sweetheart or mother by the person in the Royal Corps Canadian Ordonance. Don't ask me what that is. It is what is embroidered on an organdy emblem. Also a crown and Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Mense. At one time a woman's name was embroidered on the opposite corner. Maybe a second wife inherited it and picked out the name. That corner looks a bit scratched but she made no holes or cuts in the fabric. It is 14 inches square including the lace.
