Pikes Peak (14,110 ft.) is not Colorado's highest but it is America's most famous mountain. The Garden of the Gods, adjoining Colorado Springs, noted recreation center, contains many unusual rock formations, which are a source of constant delight to the sightseer, horseback rider, motorist, or hiker.
