Vintage GAP 1990's 1940's style Beige Floral Barkcloth look Shirtdress
1990-'s 1930's 40's Inspired
This dress is rayon meant to look like a 40's barkcloth print with plum and ochre flowerson a beige background
Mother of pearl buttons all the way down to the hem, skirt is flared at the hem, pintucks at the bodice
The waist seam is high but it is not an empire waist
This looks as though it was cut from a pattern from the 30's . The skirt is made from 7 panels of fabricor 40's.
It's from the 90's but it really looks 1930-40's
Made in Taiwan and dryclean only. I wish Gap still made dresses of this quality!
From 1992 and it is still in brand new condition!
Composition: 100% Rayon
This is vintage but it still looks new, but upon close inspection I noticed about 3 very tiny tears at the back near the hem.
They are not holes and could easily be patched with a small patch
or some Bo Nash fuse it powder which I might just do myself.
It's really small and it does not show on.
You have to turn the dress inside out and hold it to the light to find the damage
