Frank Gifford autographed New York Giants Riddell mini helmet with HOF inscription. He began his NFL career with the New York Giants by playing both offense and defense, a rarity when platoon NFL became popular after World War II. He made eight Pro Bowl appearances and had five trips to the NFL Championship Game. Gifford's biggest season may have been 1956, when he won the Most Valuable Player award of the NFL, and led the Giants to the NFL title over the Chicago Bears. He was selected to NFL 1950s All-Decade Team and the NFL Hall of Fame in 1977. This was signed at the MAB sports card show on Decemnber 10, 2012 and includes a certificate of authenticity and matching serial numbered hologram from James Spence Authentication.
