This is a OOAK hand painted slate trivet with multi-toned purple flowers. The bright colors make it quite eye catching. It can be used as a decorative way to add some color to your kitchen but it is fully functional as a trivet.

I used acrylic paint which I allowed to air cure for 24 hours. Then it was given three coats of varnish on the front and one on the underside. It has rubber pads on the bottom so it won't scratch or mar any surface it's placed on. If it needs to be cleaned you can just wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash with a mild dish detergent.
