The Keep Calm and Carry On Poster was originally produced by the British government in 1939 as a motivational poster. It was to be used in the event that war would break out and Britain would be invaded by the Nazis. As it turns out, the poster was never used but some copies remained and were rediscovered a few years ago. Today, the poster is very popular and there are a lot of variations on this theme.
